Film Faced Plywood
Throughout the production process, strict quality control measures are implemented to ensure that the plywood meets the necessary standards and delivers reliable performance in construction applications.
02. Veneer Lay-Up
After being coated with water – resistant glue, veneer will be arranged in layers so that they are perpendicular to the direction of the wood grain of each layer.
Placing boards along the grain of the wood helps to increase elasticity and high shear strength.
03. Cold Pressing
Cold pressing ensures product structure before the permanent hot pressing
04. Hot Pressing
Hot Pressing permanently cures WBP Glue solidify product structure
05. Surface Treatment
Core plywood surface is treated and applied putty.
06. Sanding & Cutting
The surface of the plywood will be sanded to increase the flatness of the plywood, and cut the edges to the standard size, in preparation for the film coating process.
07. Film Laminating
Plywood is laminated with Phenolic Film Layer to resist moisture and maintain high quality flat concrete surface
08. Edge Treatment
To increase the sharpness and durability of plywood, 4 edges of the board will be treated for square and water resistant paint
09. Inspection
The final inspection before sending to the customer, the boards are throughly checked for surface, thickness, edges, boiling time… Those that do not meet quality will be rejected.
We also inspect such as moisture control, glue inspection both before and after production, material grade selection, pressing checking and thickness checking
